After watching my first seeds sprout, I knew I had to make gardens my profession!
Since then, I have worked in a diverse range of garden spaces and have become familiar with the needs of the most common (and the more unique) plant selections we use here in our PNW landscapes.

Lutum Asa is dedicated to practicing holistic garden management and refrains from using any chemical inputs or materials that have the potential to harm our local ecosystems.
Garden Care
General care routines include:
-Weeding
-Herbaceous and Woody perennial care (trimming, stalking, dividing)
-Pruning and shaping of shrubs (under 6ft)
-Light pruning of small trees
-Vine management
-Groundcover management
Additional services upon request:
-Planting (up to 1-gallon pots)
-Edging
-Blowing
-Mulching
-Flower pot care
-Hauling
Regularly scheduled visits occur between February and November.

As I am strictly focused on garden care, my services do not include lawn maintenance, extensive black berry or ivy removal, sprinkler systems, or tree trimming. However, if you want to get rid of your lawn and replace it with a pollinator-friendly turf mix, meadow, or more gardens, I will happily oblige.
Garden Guidance
Learning how to garden can be an intimidating endeavor, but having someone there to guide you through the basics can help bypass seasons of trial and error.
That’s why I offer garden consulting for aspiring green thumbs in need of a crash course on how to manage their home landscape, as well as guidance for those who are interested in growing their own food!
I also assist in the curation, design, and installation of small garden projects.
Garden Refresh
Overgrown and out of hand... sometimes gardens just become too much.
It would be an honor to return yours to its former glory!
The garden refresh is for gardens that have gone a few seasons without attention and need help getting back to a manageable state or gardens that just need a one-time seasonal clean-up.
